This week’s newsletter revisits graduations. Karen Vandehey, (remember she is Uncle Charlie Stewart’s granddaughter) sent a couple of graduation pictures. Her granddaughter, Milana, graduated from Pre-K and I think is in the blue gown in the photo. The other granddaughter is Paisley who graduated from Kindergarten. They both go to school at Our Savior’s Christian School in South Salem, Oregon. What beautiful children they are. YAY!!
So with all the graduation focus I looked at some old pictures that my wife, Claudia, recently got digitized. I had some pictures from a Walla Walla College (now University) graduation, probably in the early 1980s. The class apparently had red gowns that year. The first picture is Janet Spaulding and her whole family. Brother Bill, Mother Sarah, Father Clair, Brother Britt and his wife, Robin.
Our next picture,. from the same graduation I believe, is of Stephanie Beecher, Aunt Marilyn’s step-daughter. I do not recognize the boy in the photo with her.
Again, the graduates are beaming and look ready to make their mark on the world. Are there more pictures we should share with the newsletter readers? Let me know. Are there any questions people would like to ask that could form another article? I also welcome any articles that you would like to write. June is already winding down and July will be upon us almost before we turn around.
Enjoy the first full week of Summer, and make it great!

Paisley is the one in blue cap & gown. Sorry forgot to label pictures.
Does anyone have stories about how our grandparents met, what attracted them to each other, etc? How about pictures?
